Most good auto parts stores or marine supply or marinas will stock CRC. You could probably find it in an Overton's Marine Supply Catalog. Overton's is a Nationwide supplier and their headquarters is in S. Carolina I believe so you should be able to find an Overton's or a West Marine Supply in Ga.

Thanks I put other cap on yesterday sprayed WD40 and put dielectric grease on cap boots and hope today will test it out have to go and pay car insurance will take it for a ride.Will get some CRC Flatmotor40

Yea know,some times people make changes to a flathead and expect it to be a miracle worker [elec.mallory].Theres nothing wrong with a stock points and cond dist. Ive built a hundred of them and never had the trouble you have,try going back to a stock dist and see what happends. OMO ken ct.
