Am dropping in to an old time auto electrician today.

He says he has some D7 champions in stock.

Are these OK for a 21 stud pilot block with 36 ford heads with today's lousy fuel ?

Just in case he has anything else to choose from....

And, does anyone know the required length of all 8 plug leads ?

I forgot to measure when leaving home, if someone could just measure the distance from a point in between plugs 2 and 3 up to steel tube and back to the crab dizzy and I can multiply that by 8 .

And add a bit for separate coil wire.

Can 5 wires fit in one plug steel tube , in case I want to mount coil on firewall model A style ?
