Default leaking tillitson

my tillitson carb. leaks only under this condition. leaks only after running with engine off about 30 drops of gas out of throat. does not leak while running does not leak after the 30 drops even with the gas left on. why ? thanks john

I just rebuilt mine. You can do it in less than two hours taking your time.

Heat soak from no air movement causes the gas to boil and drip out.
