Default Vacuum Leak

On the side of the Edelbrock 1107 4bbl manifold is a vacuum port for an unknown something. I need to plug this port, but am unsure of the thread and type of seal. Can anyone help?

being edelbrock it will be N.P.T. but what size cant say without seeing it but 1/4 or 3/8 would be an "edifacted " Guess

Hopefully it's a good strong rubber plug with a good flange on it. If not there is a potential for vacuum to pull it into the motor. Living in Willows you should have an auto parts store or Ace Hardware that could easily supply you with the correct steel pipe plug.

I vote for brass. I'd keep an eye on that rubber plug; it could deteriorate rather quickly from the heat and fumes in the engine compartment.
