The 5 gears shown in the last two frames appear to be speedometer drive gears that mount on the tail shaft of the transmission of something.

The stainless is a lower rear quarter ornament for a 1955-56 Ford passenger, The parking lamp bezels are, the silver one is a 1951-52 Ford truck and the white one is a 1953-54 Ford truck and the speedo gears are 42-52 Ford pickup. The others I don't recognize.

The 3rd through 5th look like part of a hood latch.

Oh Goodness, this forum is a never-ending source of entertainment and information! At least post #6 is an attempt to help.

Bob C I don't know if you did it on purpose, but I'm busting out laughing! The photos have the name "hood latch" in them.

I could probably use one of the speedo gears if you are selling them. Thanks Rod

I like the suit of armor comment. Maybe I'll make something for my grandsons! Thanks deuce5wndw that helps a lot. I will be selling this stuff on eBay or here if requested. Send me a PM and we can work something out. Thanks for the help. Yes, the hood latch appears to be pickup, but not sure. The stainless wheel trim looks 50's Ford or Merc, but again haven't narrowed it down yet. Fred
