28-29 Chinese finger pulls
I recently purchased a reproduction pair of chrome plated windshield finger pulls for my late 28 roadster with correct round w/shield frame. Die cast, nice plating, FoMoCo licensed and apparently made UPSIDE DOWN.
Installed with the curved pull up...not even close fit; with the curve down (which won't allow the w/s to move out...catches on the dash rail) fit-up to the frame is very nice. I'm could re-contour them so they fit, then re-plate....I guess. Lot of expense and effort for $20 parts. Anybody else run into this? I guess it's possible that the holes thru my reproduction w/shield frame are not located properly but I already had it plated so relocating them is out.
