Thanks to this Forum for info, encouragement and help to find parts, the engine is running! Some of you may remember I tore it apart and found a bad main bearing among other things! Looked to have a nice .60 over top end. So... I hand scraped a $5 swap meet rear main, installed $40 H&H flathead G7 cam, new oil pump, timing and crank gear. New water pump and fan.Lloyd Tiffany helped with the Super Winfield head and Ansen manifold. Reds header, ARP head studs and rod nuts, as per Jim Brierley. Lightened Flywheel and V8 clutch. I rebuilt a vintage Stromberg 97 that had a rare SP top on it from Ebay. 30's Mallory distributor is going to Bubbas soon. My 2 year marathon to build a Roadster from scratch is almost done. Thanks to all! Now to "Drive it like I borrowed it" and hope for the best!
