Re: Body cart(dolly) plans wanted
Not sure if it would help you or not, depending what car body you want to "cart" around. I have a frame out back I made with casters to roll a 34 coupe body around on. Pretty simple if you want a picture let me know.

Re: Body cart(dolly) plans wanted
I got one of those metal frames that new four wheelers come in. Then cut the uprights to the height I wanted, added caster wheels to the bottom. With a sheet of plywood in top it makes a nice roll around work bench too!

Hi; If you want to use it as a sand-blast or painting cart, it will need to be open to the floor pan bottom. Mine is two 'rails' on top of a frame with casters. Newc

Re: Body cart(dolly) plans wanted
The ones folks fabricate to install bare bodies in with roll over capabilities are set up like two engine stands facing each other with adjustable tie in tubes from one end to the other and heavy casters so they can be rolled. The bodies generally have to be cross braced if there is any flexibility to it at all and even if slight it's still a good idea to cross brace.
Each body can be so different that a person has to modify each time they use it for a different body. I've seen a few for sale but they are not cheap and some don't look heavy enough for my needs. A lot of work and material goes into their fabrication. Here is a link to an example. https://www.derekweaver.com/rodders-...FRyewAodbvYOZg |
