That was a great drive Art. The truck seems to ride and handle much better than I ever remember those old Fords. Or maybe your roads are just that much better? I couldn't hear any transmission whine either. Curious just what the power train is in your truck.

What shift lever is in it, Art? It seems a bit short, but does fall nicely to hand. Could you just bend it forward and up a bit?

The fellow I got it from had it in a '35 Tudor, he said it came from a '49 pickup. You can tell it's been cut off because of the "custom" grinding and threading for the shifter knob.
