Default Steering Box ??

What the difference between The 2 & the 7 tooth. How do you tell witch you have ? I have a 31 Victoria. Witch is the better ?

You have a 2 tooth in the 31 Victoria. The 2 tooth is far better than the 7 tooth used prior to 1930. From what I understand the 2 tooth is adjustable and you can get 1 inch or less play in the wheel if rebuilt and adjusted properly. I have a 7 tooth in my 29 and for the most part it is not adjustable......mine will be replaced with a 2 tooth or a F100 box.

By the way very nice choice with the Victoria as it is my favorite of all closed cars and I hope to have one someday.
