Post 1934 Ford Tudor-Dash Removal

How does the dash come out? I see the screws when I open the windshield however, I’m wondering if there are any additional screws I should be aware of.

If your car still has it; the biggest hassle is the break away bolt in the column drop.

No need to remove the bolt at the bottom of the steering column bracket, just the two at the top where the bracket attaches to the dash. There are also two screws on each end of the face of the dash.

Those two holes that David refers to can be clearly seen at either end of the dash in this picture.

For some reason I thought that one of the two bolts that held the column drop to the bottom of the dash was also a break away bolt. Don't know why but I seem to remember fighting with one there sometime in the past. Must be just getting old.

Is the 33 dash mounted the same? I’m about ready to remove it for woodgraining.
