Default 32 Model B motor needs rebuild

West coast, calif area,any advice as to where to have work done ,motor OK but babbitt is shot in mains and rods.it was a poor quality rebuild from 1999,sc

In Bend Oregon there's a guy who does babbit for rods and mains, Bill Barlow. Does fabulous work on Model A engines, should work fine for you, if he's still doing it.

Egge, Taylor, H&H, all in socal, are places to check. I can't vouch for quality.
Probably get better info if you post on the Model A forum.
I recently met an old-timer that is still doing babbit in Oceanside area. I'll have to do some looking if you want info.
Here's another idea... contact Jim Brierley on the Model A forum. He's in Temecula. I can provide contact info if you pm me.

You could call Ed Katzorke in Carson City. I have heard some good things about him. I also have a Model B engine I am thinking of taking to him. He advertises in the Model T Clubs' magazine the Vintage Ford. Jim in San Jose
