OK, I guess I thought that was a metal frame, but maybe the wood is removed from the car in the picture or is painted and I can't see it in the pic.

After attaching the buckle side, how does it route around the wood of the seat frame? I apologize if the answer seems obvious, but I haven't gotten my seat out yet so I can't see underneath it.

And any tips on getting the seat out are appreciated.

I'm still not clear on the belt routing myself.

If you are referring to removing the bench of the seat, mine has keyhole shaped holes in the cushion frame and screws in the support frame (or the other way around-I don't remember). In either case, just push towards the rear a bit and lift. It should come right out.

I've never tried to take out the backrest section. I wouldn't think that is necessary to install the seatbelt anchors.

OK, that may be the problem. I've been assuming that it slides out to the front. I'll try that tonight.
