Let the shop know if you desire "Show Chrome" or "Daily Driver Chrome".
Some shops have different quality levels at different prices.

I know there is Sabin's Chrome in Hillsdale,NY (not too far from Greenville). He did chrome plating for me a long time ago. He's still at it, so must be doing something right. He has a Facebook page.
There are a few around Hartford, CT.

Super Chrome in Asbury Park NJ worked for me, had a lot of stuff chromed. Robert Mecelie is the owner.
