Snow bird
I am considering getting out of the North Dakota winter this year. Do any members know of 55 plus mobile home communities in central Florida that cater to model a owners? If not any communities close to model a clubs?

Re: Snow bird
I have a 1929 Roadster I brought down from New England. We live on the east coast about 15 miles south of Melbourne. I belong to a VERY active Model A club that started about 10 years ago and is going VERY strong. Our web site is https://www.flmodela.org/ .
Hope this helps. Jim |

There's plenty of collector car activity in Florida - probably has a lot to do with the year-round driving weather (if you have a good cooling system in the summer ). Anyway, I've done a lot of research on 55+ and never ran across one that advertised it specifically catered to cars. Here's a list of registered 55+ communities by county/city: https://fchr.myflorida.com/55communities You probably can find contact information by googling them. MAFCA and MARC websites list their chapters/regions: https://mafca.com/chapters/FL.html https://model-a-ford.org/regions/ MH Village has searchable lists of mobile homes for sale or rent and some general information: https://www.mhvillage.com/ Last edited by CHuDWah; 08-24-2019 at 01:44 PM. |
