Default Bendix starter drives...

Just what do all those numbers mean on those Bendix starter drives?

Example:

112385386
112349473
114384599
114390288
117395739
and on and on all the way around the bendix starter drive!

I think they are patent numbers.

If you look at where the numbers start it says made in america eclipse bendix pats then a series of numbers followed by Patents pending. It appears that the same patent numbers are on Model A style as well as the other brand of cars. I have located numbers that match on each style.
