Default NAPA Premium Wheel Cylinder - USA???

I am replacing my 70 plus year old wheel cylinders with the NAPA premium ones, since many of you on here indicated they were Made in the USA. Interestingly enough, the left rear is clearly marked Made in the USA, but the right rear doesn't have any markings whatsoever. I am hoping it's still good ol' USA made, but who knows.

Apparently the two didn't come from the same manufacturer.

Its hard if not impossible to find parts made in the US anymore. I'm guessing options for better quality parts (Napa/Car Quest..etc) is going to be even harder to find if the news I heard yesterday is true that Car Quest has been bought out by Advance Auto...Im hoping this is a false rumor.

If it is not marked country of origin it is made in USA!

Just bought four wheel cylinders and a master cylinder from NAPA. Two of the wheel cylinder boxes say made in USA one box says made in china and one nothing. They all look the same. In fact the made in china one almost looks better The master cylinder box says made in china and looks very nice and has a lifetime warranty. What are you going to do? Not much being made in the US unless you want pot

See post 20 in this link. Mart shows a problem with some China cylinders. I had the same problem.

The NAPA wheel cylinders I got (Made in USA IIRC) had metric bleeder screws. They've been just fine but I hate having to worry about carrying a metric wrench on a vehicle where everything else is not.

These sorts of problems can be avoided - just sleeve the original cylinders.
