Default Timing pointer

Can anyone out there help me for the life of me I can't find the timing pointer on my 76 400 left right up down nope not there! and I know it's some were because I've timed it before. thanks! feeling dumb

Time it with a vacuum gauge. Advance dizzy to maximum vacuum, back off 1/2 inch of vacuum, and lock it down. If it pings under load, back it off more. If not, you are done.
