Default 36 woodie unobtanium

Here are the brass side curtain slides for my 36 woodie. I took them out to re-varnish the wood.

I had to make one of the 4 straight ones, the shiny one shown, for the rear doors out of sheet brass. Lots of hammering and swearing for that one but it fits nice.

The curved ones are installed in wooden tracks in the roof to store the curtains when not in use. The shorter ones are for the rear doors and the longer for the rear quarters.

On my '46 Station Wagon, sliding quarter windows there are two, filler pieces, one front and one back that fill in the void of the sliding windows. They are made from what seems to be 26 ga. sheetmetal covered in fabric. Try finding those. Most use the double sided track material to cover the void. I was lucky that my car had them. True, "Woodies" have a lot of unique parts. Nice work Tex, you might think about reproducing them.
