Looks like a 1955 Pontiac to me...

Bob, I thought Pontiac too except for the sign that says, “win a new Ford.”

I sold one of those hood ornaments at my auction for 175 bucks! I think it was the highest out of my 150 or so collection. 53 poncho was my guess too

Bait and switch. No one wants a new Pontaic so they adverstied a Ford to get you there. Only to be let down by the sight of that Pontiac. Couldn't give that Pontiac away.

Seth
Funny you say that, back in the day, my Granddad got rid of his 46 Mercury Sedan Coupe and got a 49 Pontiac. My Dad (11yrs old) HATED that car, he said it stunk, it was battleship grey (ugly) and it didn't ride good.....He put up such a fuss over it, after awhile he finally got rid of it for a 53 Mercury....ALL was good with the world then!!!!

I was just being funny. My bias is obviously Ford. I've never been much of a fan of the GM styling of the 30s or 40's. I think by then end of the 50's their styling inproved. In my opinion, Ford's 30's and 40's styling dominated.
