Well the wife needs some medical attention thats not available down here in St.Thomas, USVI. So we moving soon to Carthage, N.Carolina. Shes got a friend there and so my question is, whats happening in that area as far as Model A stuff. Im selling all my Model A things here, I THINK. Got some folks looking, but if not im going to leave it here. Iceman

Welcome to NC. Carthage will put you close to at least three big and very active Model A clubs. Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Charlotte. I would bring the Model A pickup with you on the move. Best wishes for your wife.

There is a Model A engine rebuilder in Pinebluff (same county). He has a garage full of fenders and wheels. During the summer months, there is a cruise in at Ledo's Pizza in Southern Pines. Lots of cars of all kinds show up there. In the spring there is the Buggy Festival in Carthage that has a car show as part of the festival. In Hamlet, last of October is the Seaboard Festival with an attached car show. Usually a big turnout for that. Rockingham and Laurinburg both have weekly cruise ins at Smithfield BBQ. Pinehurst has a great hospital. Speedy recovery for you wife.
