Re: Weather stripping
Suppliers have a "D" shaped, hollow, self adhesive weather stripping, that can be used around DOORS/ETC. Barely noticeable. Their WIDER size works GOOD around deck lids & on the bottom of the doors.

Re: Weather stripping
Tell it like it is, Bill. MAC's is the only Model A vendor (that I have found) that carries weatherstripping https://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...x-20-roll.html I'm sure you already know that they didn't have weatherstripping originally.
But try Home Depot first. They carry weatherstripping in various sizes, one is similar to MAC's but is double humped. Just cut it down the middle, self adhesive. It helps keeps the doors from rattling also. Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 11-13-2017 at 03:18 PM. |

How do you adhere the weatherstripping? Rubber cement?

Re: Weather stripping
Most are peel and stick in place, "in place" having been cleaned first to remove any dirt or loose paint so it won't just fall off.

Re: Weather stripping
I got mine from (choke . . . Choke ) from Macs. Only place I could find what I wanted. The stuff at Home Depot just didn’t do it for me.

I see one Model A’er had great luck with this. Another didn’t. Has anyone else used the product from Home Depot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by shew01; 12-06-2020 at 09:57 AM. |

Re: Weather stripping
Mac’s has some very good products. I have placed many orders with them and never had a problem . Shipping can be high but I know that when I place the order!
