Default 1936 Ford Cigarette Lighter Knob

So I bought a set of replacement dash knobs for my 36 and have a problem with the one for the cigarette lighter. In the picture you can see the knob on the left connects to the element with a stud and the stud and knob are all one integrated piece. The replacement knob looks like it connects to a different kind of element. Any ideas about what I've got here and can someone share a picture of a 36 element this new knob is supposed to fit?
