call this guy-Bob Whitaker-he deals in mainly later licence plates, but he knows the number for several other Michigan-based licence plate dealers. http://whits-brits.com

Contact Gibby at [email protected] who lives in Fenton MI and is the Past President of the license plate club (ALPCA), an international group with about 70 members in Michigan. If he does not have one he can refer you to a likely source.

Dont mean to hijack the thread but does anyone know of a website or know a PPG or paint code for 1929 Illinois red used on the license plate?

Looking for plates I always suggest e-Bay or any one of the hundreds of Facebook groups.

I've bought and sold from both without any issues.

I second this recommendation. If Greg doesn't have one he'll surely be able to put you in touch with someone who does.
