I'm glad you liked it. Here is one I painted a few years ago.

Excellent. I like that you include the little children in your pictures. Very talented. Thanks again for sharing.

Re: Just a painting
Hi 15max.
Your personal profile doesn’t say in what industry you work. Infact you don’t have a personal profile. If it’s not art you should make it art. I’d like a copy of the trashed A with the kids playing in it and on it. Can I purchase one please?

Re: Just a painting
That is really good.
My friend's wife did a watercolor of my green car for me as a birthday present last year. What a cool surprise. A very special gift, for sure. I'll see if I can find a picture of it to post.

I should mention that I'm not selling paintings or prints. I just do it for fun. I'm just a retired car nut. Thanks Last edited by 15max; 05-07-2022 at 04:08 PM. Reason: additional info |

Re: Just a painting
I kind of liked the reflections in this one. We had a member that liked the accessories.

Re: Just a painting
Looks a bit like the playground at my first school in Idaho. There were about ten old car bodies sitting together on the bank of a creek. A grass fire had caught them at some point so there wasn't much wood left and no paint. All the bodies were just total rust buckes but all had running gear. Scrap drive of WWII got them all. Dodges, Fords and Star are the only names I remember being there. No closed cars that I can recall.

Great effort on your part! Are the children related to you?

Re: Just a painting
All of those paintings are beautiful you should consider possibly making a calendar with them.

Re: Just a painting
The children aren't related but taken from some photos on the internet.
We have done some calendars over the years. They are fun. Thanks for the comments. |

Re: Just a painting
I had an artist paint a picture ( mural ) of my mom and dads service station across the front of my storage barn. Mural is 8 ft by 40 feet. We then added about 6 cars from my fleet and then we inserted pictures of my deceased relatives. A show piece in my community. Have a look at my album. Wayne

Re: Just a painting
Very nice work! You have a talent. It reminds me of when I was a teen in the early '70's. I raised fancy show pigeons and traveled the state competing in shows. There was a young woman out of So. Cal. (Diane Jacky) that also had pigeons and went to the shows and did painting on the side. Next thing you know, her artwork of pigeons was in high demand and her paintings were featured on national and international magazine covers. Wouldn't it be great to get paid for something you enjoy doing?

The kid is drinking Coca-Cola. We used this one for a Christmas card in 2017. It is nice to hear those stories. |
