After a ten year absence she runs again.
In 2003 my daughter was born and I hibernated to my shop to restore a 29 Roadster I found in a barn in Ontario......
One cool afternoon my lovely wife came out to the shop and threatened to smash the car with the heaviest hammer in my shop if I didn't get in the house and start changing diapers. Well, she won and the car went away. After ten years I have now been allowed to play once again. Here she is running today. http://vid1291.photobucket.com/album...pswksyhsrc.mp4 http://vid1291.photobucket.com/album...psizqhfzlk.mp4 Last edited by ford-m; 10-06-2015 at 05:05 PM. |

And the boys say... welcome back

Re: After a ten year absence she runs again.
Sounds like my cousin's husband. He did a nice restoration on a 1930 Tudor and left it outside behind the barn. A raccoon took care of the new upholstery in short order. He rerestored the car and now it sets in the back corner of the garage and hasn't been started in 30 years. In fact I pulled the plugs and oiled the cylinders about 10 years ago, and the engine was getting hard to turn over at that time.
