Ordered an exhaust set from Bob Drake but need a muffler that will fit and be as close to possible as original. one we ordered has been on backorder for too long a time. Any help is appreciated.

They seem to be out of stock or not available from most vendors. You might take a picture from one of the vendor sites to your local reputable muffler man and see what he can find that's very close.

Or, you can call Roy Nacewicz. He has them and they are beautiful.

If you get one from Roy it will be a close to original as you can get.
