Default V8-60 heads.

A while back I talked about making some aluminum V8-60 heads. I cut the pattern and core boxes and then other stuff made it stop. I am turning the last bit loose to someone else so I can get sample castings made in the next month or so.

Looking forward to seeing how they cast up! I only have a couple hundred bucks in tooling so my pricing should be able to be pretty competitive.

Hey Tod,
Good to hear that you are staying busy !
I've owned a number of V8-60s in past.
I'd be interested to hear from others here with experience with these heads and what might be able to be done to 'improve' their combustion chamber for better performance.
The stock combustion chamber is nearly non-existent relative to size. Guys who mess with these tiny V8s need every bit of innovation possible to gain power. Finned alum heads were an accessory that was very expensive...for the look. Not so sure that they provided any more umph tho ! Someone(s) here will know and maybe add their help/knowledge.
Low price is always an attractant. Are your heads going to have the fins ?

No fins. I modeled my chamber after a desirable design someone sent me to copy. As easy as it is to cut tooling I can always alter the chambers if someone has a better idea.

I'm interested in how these turn out as I have a 60 hp. Would be a great addition if I can get a little more performance.

I could be interested but shipping & customs to UK might be the killer.

It would be long sold as I saved the pic years ago, but the alloy heads took my interest and i saved it for the photo. Love your 35 3 window.. UK one? Can't make out markers on the guards but think I can see the add on semaphores on the side of the cowl.

Do an online search for "Brazil V8 60 hemi". Now there's a project Tod could sink his teeth into-recreating these OEM heads!

Yes , as I remember that hemi version was quite rare, looked great and added zip to that little 60.
