Question Model A powered trams

Does anyone have any information or experience with any of these? I got a tour of this place just after I got my car as a teen (1965). All his trams were model A (B) engine and transmission powered. They were made up of 1-3 cars and ran up and down along the Venice California beach. The owner had a big stash of A/B parts.

It is pretty cute. The Model A drivetrain would ensure a lot of cheap parts for his fleet. No info but it is an interesting piece of history.

What I do remember riding them was they must have had a lot of muffler as it was very quiet running.
