go to www.ford-trucks.com. Someone there may help you as well. There is a forum for 1967-72s.

I did this to a 62 F-100 Unibody. I put a 4.6 and 4R70W OD. It fits in there very well. Plenty of room. The truck had a Fatman Mustang front suspension. I did have to change the oil pan and pick up tube. (A rear sump pan is needed) Also used Sanderson headers. If you do this you may have to fab engine mounts. I set the engine before I had the headers and had to re-design the RH engine mount. The original mount interfered with the header.other than that it was pretty straight forward. I set the engine as far back and as low as I could. If you need any more info, PM me.

Also know of a guy who put a '61 Unibody on a Merc Marauder chassis. It fit pretty well but had problems with the front end being too wide. He had interference problems with the wheel wells. Had to do some fab work for clearance. The engine didn't sit close to the firewall either. I though it looked strange that way. But it looked good going down the sreet.

If you have the complete car the front cross member will drop out and darn near bolt into the 70's chassis.
