Rebuilt generator & cutout - see photos!
City:
Fredericksburg
State:
Virginia
Price:
$300
After eating more than my share of turkey and all that goes with it, I needed to work it off - so I finished this late 1933-1934 generator. It has the vented end covers and correct 4" pulley. It will work on many other years as well.
The armature was tested for opens, shorts and grounds, commutator trued and windings sealed. It has new field coils, brushes, brush springs, double row sealed drive end bearings with custom machined bearing spacers and a new custom machined adjustable bearing retainer. It has new wiring, oilers and hardware. It comes with a refurbished and adjusted original Ford "A" stamped cutout. It has been tested on my test stand and 3rd brush adjusted to 4-5 amps. This is where I set them for normal daytime driving. See photos. Send me your email address and I'll send a video of it running on my test stand. $300 + shipping and insurance Last edited by ndnchf; 11-27-2023 at 08:28 PM. |
