we are in Augusta GA tonight, driving our cars from Jacksonville to our new home in Leicester NC.

since we are too cheap to hire a transport company, we got our friends Peyton & Mable Lee to help drive 2 Model As and 2 modern cars.

the Town Sedan used more water in the first 50 miles than it did on the entire French Lick trip last summer, then it settled down to normal.

the Coupe ran like a dream with the Mitchell OD that Peyton & I installed last week. why did I wait so long?

guess I will need a new screen name since I will soon no longer be "in Jax"

Jax to Ashe in two Model A's with two friends in two days. Can life get any better than that?

I know what you mean about the Mitchell. I first experienced one in a friends 1930 Roadster. It was just amazing when he got up to about 40-45 mph and dropped in into OD. I decided then and there that when I got my A, that would be one of the first things I would do.....and I did. Driving at 55 mph feels like you could go forever and it is so quiet. Good luck with the rest of the trip!
