LED Headlight Bulbs
Does anyone have a current source of quality flanged LED headlight bulbs? My '35 takes the flange type bulbs. I tried a pair off ebay, but there were a couple issues. The flange was set too deep and was half the thickness of original bulbs. And the contacts amaeem to be aligned but are elongated, they would not turn on. Not sure whats going on, but suspect its the flange. See photos comparing to an original bulb. Just poor quality control.
I've found two other candidates and was wondering if anybody has tried either of these. This one looks like it would work: https://www.ledlight.com/led-headlam...ed-60-smd.aspx This one has more lumens, but is longer. Not sure if it would fit behind the lens. https://www.ledlight.com/p15d-30-led...ed-ncnrnw.aspx Has anybody used either of these? Or know of any other LEDs that would work? I have Logolites focused beam LED headlight bulbs in my model A, they work great. Unfortunately they do not make a flange style version. I'm not interested in halogens. Re: LED Headlight Bulbs
Steve, ive have the 2nd choice p-15d-30 bulbs in my'37 they put out a whiter brighter light than the the orig 2330 incandescent bulb but because oh the originalfluted glass lenses they are not focused on the road as well. easier seen to oncoming cars.i have seen some where there are unfluted lenses but not sure where that was.this maybe a solution.im ok with the setup because i get the old girl is back from the dance by dusk:} Tom.

Re: LED Headlight Bulbs
I purchased a complete set of LED bulbs for all applications in my 1935 truck from Vintage and Classic Bulbs www.classicandvintagebulbs.com I got them at Hershey. The owner lives in Australia but I think he has a US representative. Not cheap, but perfect fit, function and plenty bright.

Re: LED Headlight Bulbs
I believe these are the correct LED headlight bulbs for 1935 Fords:

Re: LED Headlight Bulbs
Thanks for the replies. It sounds like the p-15D-30-LEDs are worth a try. It looks like it is available from several sources.
