Default Door checks

Does a 31 Victoria take special door stops ? Or will regular ones work?

The door check stops in my 190A look those in my 1931 45B Coupe. I have not overlaid them, so I cannot say they are identical. They also look like Bratton's Part Number 32840. I suspect that the front door check stops in 1930-'31 closed cars are the same, but I have no proof.

If you are asking about the rubber bumper (Ford's nomenclature for this was called a 'Stop - Door Check Bumper' ), then yes the part number A-156198 Stop was used on all 1930-31 Coupes, Tudors, Fordors, Conv. Sedans, Cabriolets, Vics, and et/al.

I just replaced the door checks on my '31 S/W Town Sedan. I used the Bratton's 32840 arm set and the 32910 arm pad. The old pads were dried out and fell apart. The new ones from Bratton's easily replaced the originals with the two screws provided. The new arms replaced the cheap repo's that someone had used. Now have three settings for how far the door will open. Makes a little easier getting in and out of the front seat.
