Default B4 choke assembly source for new or good used.

Our 32 B4 choke has been worn through on the outer and missing the C clip plus seems too short to completely close or open and is very close to the exhaust manifold.
Apart from Brattons seemingly gold digger price , is there a better source or repairs available .

Good used choke cables show up from time to time on ebay. Beware that there are three versions which are identical except for their length (and in one instance, the color of the knob differed). The '32 passenger car cable (B-9700) is 34 1/4" long, the '32-'34 commercial vehicle/truck cable (BB-9700) is 32 3/4" long, and the '33-'34 passenger car/station wagon/sedan delivery cable (46-9700) is 39 3/4" long. (Normally the knob on '33-'34 commercial vehicle/truck cable was black whereas on all of the others the knob was brown.)
