Default Model A Camber

Anyone out there know what the camber is supposed to be on a Model A?
All the references I have only list toe in and caster.
Thanks

The camber is built in to the front axle. The only adjustment is bending the axle. That can be done cold, on a large press, out of the car.

You can also change it by splicing the wishbone, spreading it to get the desired angle, then re-welding it in place. This is done pretty commonly.

The camber at the wheel should + 2 degrees, 1/2 to 1 degrees + is acceptable .

About as Brian said, I like 1.0-1.5º + . The only I know to change it is to bend the axle.

out of spec camber can also be caused by worn spindle bushings and kingpins.

From Ford service bulletins---(1936 when they got serious with fancy alignment machine)
camber --max -2 degrees+, min -1/4 degree+, max variation between wheels-- 1/4 degree, and camber of right wheel should never be greater than camber of left wheel

If you are looking to find a replacement axle I recommend having a king pin with you to test for abnormal play in the pin bore, although this can be repaired it would be expensive to fix.
There are plenty of axles around, finding them close to you maybe a problem, shipping being the deal breaker.
I was very lucky to find one that appeared to be unused, the KPI was at 7 degrees, and pin to pin across the perches in alignment, I made up some simple tools to check it with.

Logan, I am wondering how modifying your wishbones will correct Camber issues. You might be able to correct slight Caster issues, but I fail to see how your suggestion will help with a Camber issue. The only way to correct camber issues is as suggested, by bending the axle.

Thanks to all-- I knew the info had to be out there somewhere!. I don't know that mine is off, but I figured it would be nice to have the spec to check it.
