Default Closed car windshield chrome

I have a 1929 windshield frame ready for chrome should I also include the hinge part of the windshield frame. Or will the additional chrome cause the hinge not to work properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jerry

Not to dissuade you, but no 1928-29 Model A's had chrome plated windshield frames like some of the 1930-31 Model A's. The Cabriolet windshield was not plated until 1930, if you are working on a 1929 Cabriolet. Closed car windshield frames were painted upper body color in 1929.
