spool for 8" rearend
It has been brought to my attention that I should use a spool instead of a minispool for my 8" rearend(for strength). I"m using it for racing on dirt track. I know I should use a 9" however I have this one. I already tried jeg's,summit, behrents, speedway. Thanks <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

I have a spool which may be what you need. It was in the trunk of a 56 Ford sedan which had been used for drag racing.I bead blasted it and it appears to be in very good condition. The largest diameter is 7 1/4 inches. It has 10 holes that a 29/64" drill bit fits easily. It has four double wide splines with 6 teeth between each space. Casting numbers are C2AW4206 15 DIF. There is also a 14 DIF on the opposite side. My brother, who was a drag racer for many years, told me these things sold for $300. to $400. when he was racing. If you think you can use this make me an offer I can't refuse. E-mail me at [email protected] or you can call me at 425-277-3242 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM PDT. Good luck! <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
