Default Need A Complete Wiring Harness for 1935 3W

I am in need of a complete wiring harness for a 35 3 Window coupe.

I have emailed Tyree Harris but haven't received a reply. I have since seen a post that he no longer does wiring on Model A's. Is he no longer making harnesses?

If so who or where is the best alternative? My car has hydraulic brakes so does the harness need modifications for that?

Thanks,

Daryl

You will need 3 harness, dash harness, headlight harness, and tail light harness. The usual suppliers have them available if you aren't interested in points judging.

I think he is just not doing custom harnesses for fine points cars.
Is this is the thread you were referring to https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...t=tyree+harris

I guess I don't know what fine point cars are. Mine will not be a show car just a fun driver. Do the hydraulic brakes necessitate a custom harness?

Is [email protected] a good email?

Try YNZ Yesterdays parts in Cali. they can do a custom original type harness for you with blinkers set up, master fuse link etc etc etc. (909) 798-1498

Nope, both mechanical and hydraulic brakes have a brake light switch. Tyree Harris wouldn't do a custom harness for me including turn signals.

If the brake light switch is in a different location with your hydraulic brakes you need the allow for it in the harness.

Tyree is still making wiring harnesses. Give him a call. I always prefer a phone call and personal conversation over email or text. Especially with a guy as congenial as Tyree.

I will say this and in no disrespect. The model A guys and their judging standards are so high that I don't believe even they can agree among themselves what is correct and incorrect. There is a lot of arguing and fighting going on there. There are some good Model A guys on that page. There are also a lot of self proclaimed experts and know it all's.

You might also try Sacramento vintage Ford.

The three sources for making wiring harnesses that come to mind for me are:
Tyree Harris, Rhode Island Wire and Narragansett.
