How to remove broken glass?
Hey Guys,
I have 1930 Deluxe Roadster with cracks in the glass, my local glass place can't figure out how to remove the glass? Any ideas? No screws that I can see anywhere. Thanks, Jim

Re: How to remove broken glass?
Look closer there has to be some fasteners holding it together, they didn't form the frame around the glass.

Re: How to remove broken glass?
The 2 sides and bottom are one piece and the top rail is a separate piece.
The threaded stud in the second photo also holds the top rail in place. Double nut the stud on each side, remove the studs, and then you can drive off the upper rail to remove the glass. Hope this helps. Phred, Herb's Glass, Elgin IL |
