Try these sites

http://paintref.com/paintref/index.shtml

http://pc.dupont.com/hcl/?locale=en_US

http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/default.aspx

the following shows Aurora Red was dropped in August/September 1930
http://www.modelaford.org/technical/...s30-31open.asp

the following shows it available for the 32-34 model
http://pc.dupont.com/hcl/search/imag...&mode=fullscrn

Note that one of the paint chip pages has notes on it showing vermillion and aurora the same with a period paint code.

Vermillion and aurora reds are not the same shade and carried different "M" numbers when used by Ford.

Here's the paint chip reference for most REDS.
http://www.paintref.com/cgi-bin/colo...page=3&rows=50

And from the Model A Club paint codes for both the Aurora and Vermillion.

I cannot find a Dupont formula for Dupont #246-5036. And it does not cross. Have you been able to get this color mixed? If so how and where.
Thanks
