Re: LED headlight bulbs
I've tried most everything that has been made over the years.Behind the lens sealed beams made a weird light. The halogens worked OK,but the wires were always warm to the touch.I always left the band off the generator so I could turn it down for daytime driving. Then I tried the bulbs from The Little British Car Company.I liked those much better, and I went to using EVR's at the time.I tried some LED sold as headlights, but I really think those were more to be seen that to see with. Then I went to the big new bulbs, and I won't be going back to anything else.I set the third brush at it's lowest settings and it charges fine.I really don't need an EVR using thes bulbs, but I do like regulated charging.I was planning on buying one of Mikes new regulators, but it may not be needed.

Re: LED headlight bulbs
I was using Ron Francis 'Brite Bulbs' 75/125 cp bulbs until I tried the new Logo Lite LED's. Never go back.
Beside the LEDs putting out more light on the road and they don't use the reflectors, my front turn signals show up better. Win-Win. Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 03-09-2024 at 03:21 PM. |

Re: LED headlight bulbs
My results are like Kurt, Ordsgt, and Keith (above). I got mine at Snyders, and it was $100 well spent. I spent about an hour masking off the garage door for aiming, cleaning lenses, and everything. I am sure one of the guys in your local club can help you swap them and aim them. They likely will not even wash their hands when done.
Not an issue for oncoming traffic. Oh, and pictures do not do this upgrade justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are wonderful. |

I wrote this for other people too so it may not apply to you.
