Re: GM, The real answer to Vapor Lock
Dream on. There's not a thing 50 of them would do. The problem is in the pump, not the fuel line. G.M.

Or, take along a bushel of these to push a half of down onto the fuel pump when vapor locked.

Re: GM, The real answer to Vapor Lock
The wooden clothes pins are an excellent conversation starter however, not so much a Flathead starter...

Clever! Ford anti vapor lock clothes pins! Where did you find those Keith Oh? Great conversation pieces! They surely must work or Ford wouldn't have put their name on them!

Re: GM, The real answer to Vapor Lock
I think most guys up North like pasture pies ! They can be molded around the fuel pump for maximum coverage if found at the right time!!

I had a 31 model a that ever time you drove it it would v/l we drove it to the moonshine festival and had to stop 3 times. After finale getting to the show a gentleman said put close pens on it, my wife went to the super market that was close by and bough some, after putting them on it run great and never did it again. Looked funny but worked.

Re: GM, The real answer to Vapor Lock
wood isn't a great heat sink, but is a fairley good insulator.if you put enough clothspins on the fuel line, the would keep the line from absorbing heat.
