A big car show this weekend in Odessa, FL featuring Pierce Arrow, Packard and Peerless Automobiles. Should be very cool, hope the rain stays away...

Yup, we had about the same number of cars show up, they included a Pierce Arrow Roadster, two Packard's, three Peerless, a '35 Cadillac, '36 Studebaker Dictator Coupe, '39 Plymouth Coupe, several Model T's and A's a 1915 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and my '39 Ford CS. We dined on Cuban sandwiches, black bean soup, salad, etc. the rain came down heavy at times but did not dampen the spirits of anyone at the event. I even got to enjoy a good cigar.

The group hasn’t been very active of late, mostly due to life getting in the way of playing with Flatheads. Thanks to Alan, we have been to a several local events in the last month or so. This weekend we are planning to attend a car show at a local VFW to kick off the holiday. Hopefully we’ll be getting back to playing with Flatheads in the garage before too long. Mike and I opened up the Columbia Two Speed rear (that I got for the ’39 LZ) and to my amazement and absolute delight everything looks good. I’m ordering a new set of gaskets and new piston for the vacuum chamber. Once we reassemble the unit the fun of pulling the OEM rear out of the LZ will begin.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable Flathead fun filled weekend.

I think I'm going to start calling my PC Hal, as it recently took it upon itself to convert (upgrade) to windows 10... Now everything is different... I'm getting too old for all these learning curves...

We upgraded to Windows 10 awhile back thinking it would not be much different from 7. Boy were we surprised. Still trying to figure things out.

Hey ,Vic - Earl and I will be wearing our Cigar City Flatheads t-shirts at the LA Roadster show and, if we can wash them before the NSRA Nats in Pueblo, wear them there too. Going nationwide, Vic, nationwide!

Tom, that's excellent. Take some photos... What are the dates for the NSRA Nationals in Pueblo? I'm looking at property there for a new business opportunity... Maybe I could fly out and hook up with you guys for a few days.

Still having issues with windows 10... Now, for some reason (that I've not been able to figure out...) I can no longer post photos from other websites or photo storage sites, here on the FordBarn? Have any of you had (or are having) this problem, if so, how were you able to correct it?
