Default Installing 40 Wagon Qtr. Sliding Windows

I ended up pulling my old quarter windows on the 40 on the right side. I have a new channel and glass to replace. Has anybody done this and know the secret to installing the new channel and glass??? Thanks!

If it's the same as the 1946, you have to install the top channel first and the two windows including the bottom track as a unit, second. There is no way to install the bottom track and then get the glass in. You might need a second set of hands to help.

OK so I start the upper part of the weatherstrip first but where in the opening since the forward seal is different.
