Where is the restricted fitting on an 8ba. I pulled one out of the side of a block today and it was not restricted. I suspect the restricted fitting is in the t fitting at the top. I am putting a filter on an earlier engine and will have to rig up a way to plumb the return.

Yes, it is in the tee fitting on the pressure side.
