Re: 48F1 transmission mount
F1 uses the same one that cars use. Take your pick of suppliers. In your area Mac's is probably closest.

Re: 48F1 transmission mount
Is the rubber separate from the lower metal "saddle" or is it moulded into it? Also the holes in the crossmember are very large in diameter. Is this so the rubber can protruded through and below it. Is there an additional plate/washer on the bottom of transmission crossmember?
I noticed a part from LMC truck, but it looked like it was only the metal part. I'll check the MACs catalogue Thanks Al |

It's molded to the saddle.

Re: 48F1 transmission mount
The saddle bolts to the cross member. Trans bolts to the saddle.
BUT this is only for sure if you have light or heavy duty 3 spd trans....not sure what setup they used with the 4 spd in the F1 |

Re: 48F1 transmission mount
I'm betting that all of them are selling the same piece, which is made in India (or was when I bought mine). They molded over the bolt holes and I'll tell you what, it's a big PITA to open them up. It also seems to be very stiff rubber. What can you do?

Re: 48F1 transmission mount
I have bought a few repro units and have found the square holes for the carriage bolts that bolt it to the frame are shifted. Probably when the two pieces are molded together. I have to elongate the holes in order to get the trans to sit level from left to right when looking from the back facing forward.
