Not really a "on topic" question for this board, but you might want to do a search on the subject.
As an alternative, check out HAMB. There's a ton of information over there about this very subject. |

I believe if you do a search there are several threads in this subject.
Also a conversion kit shows up occasionally in the for sale ads here. |

Just google "ford flathead T5."
Edit: Google "Ford flathead T5 conversion". About a million hits. |

I think that is one of the more difficult swaps because the bell housing is one year
only and the motor mounts bolt to the bell housing. There was a thread about this in the past. |

I didn't do the swap........... I bought the car that way from a late friends widow. It's a pretty simple swap as far as the engine to trans piece. He used a V8 "hogshead" and an aluminum home built plate (aftermarket plates are available) drilled for the S10 pattern. The 32 pedals are in place and remain untouched. I think he used the Ford pressure plate and the correct clutch disc for the S10 spline. The S10 requires modification to the 32 center crossmember and is open drive. It's an easy job for your F100 as it is already open drive.

Quote:
The other issue is your clutch linkage..its more of a challenge then the 1952 and older pickup They made an adapter were you could bolt a muncie to the y block pattern which is the same as a 53 pickup transmission and vise versa but those adapters are pricey . |
