I had that happen to me and I was concerned. I have purchased with paypal but had not sold. Bottom line is that I received payment when paypal said I would.

That is why you accept paypal payments via friends and family (cash) only. I prefer postal money orders. Take item to post office cash money order ship item.

if you agree to accept PPL and dont have your bank hooked to the acct. it can take 21 days to get your $.

why I only buy using ppl and dont accept it for selling.

only problem with using friends and family- you have absolutely NO guarantee. Ild rather send the xtra 3% and be insured.
I had someone stilff me for 1200 and I got all my $ back. well worth the 3%

IMO, if you are confident you will find another buyer easily, I'd tell Paypal to take a hike. The buyer may not be happy but I'd get over that knowing my money was safe. There is probably a reason they wanted to use something as dodgey as PPL. I no longer use it.
