Default 1941 Lincoln front backing plates with Ford drums

I have original 1941 Lincoln backing plates installed on 1940 Ford spindles.
Can I use 1940 Ford hubs and drums on this setup with no problems?
I also have the Lincoln hubs/drums but don't want to use them because of
the more narrow offset wheel spacing.
This is on a 1934 ford.
Thanks.

Yes, you can use all 1937-48 Ford front hubs and drums on the 1941 front Lincoln backing plates with the 1940 Ford spindles without any problems. That's why the 1941 Lincoln front backing plates are so desired.
